I love that I have the same amount as you when I look through these movies but totally different ones. I am saddened by your lack of mob movies, they take up a decent section of our media shelf. Frank is working on the older DeNiro movies with me right now so I have only recently seen Taxi Driver and Raging Bull. (taxi driver is so awesome, he reminds me of my friend Jason, whether or not that is a good thing…I am not so sure) I was only shocked by 2 of the ones you haven’t seen: Rocky and It’s a Wonderful Life. It will be easy enough to catch It’s a Wonderful Life, it is always on at Christmas. Here is what I have left to watch:
    1. Citizen Kane (1941)
    7. Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
    9. Vertigo (1958)
    11. City Lights (1931)
    12. The Searchers (1956)
    14. Psycho (1960)
    16. Sunset Boulevard (1950)
    17. The Graduate (1967)
    18. The General (1927)
    19. On the Waterfront (1954)
    21. Chinatown (1974)
    22. Some Like It Hot (1959)
    23. The Grapes of Wrath (1940)
    24. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)

That is too funny! I know, I know, I have to get on these mob movies. My stepdad is extremely disappointed in my lack of viewing experience :)

I’ve always avoided “It’s a Wonderful Life” at Christmas – it seemd too depressing! It’s really NOT a wonderful life for most of the movie, right??

I think you’d really enjoy “12 Angry Men” – you and Frank both, actually. You should watch that soon!

Come to think of it, maybe the next time the four of us hang out we should pick a movie none of us have seen and watch it! :)

Shenanigans! The Princess Bride should be on that list. How do I contact AFI?
